Nathaniel Emery is co-founder of AHMUNC and Secretary-General for AHMUNC 2014. He was Chargé d’Affaires for AHMUNC 2013. Nathan was Head Delegate for NAIMUN 2014, where he modeled Shigenori Tōgō – Foreign Minister for Joint Regional: Operation Downfall, 1945 – Imperial Japanese War Cabinet. He won Best Position Paper for the application committee Russian Sunset at PMUNC 2013 where he modeled Count Vladimir Nikolaevich Kokovtsov. Nathan served as Head Delegate of the CHAPMUN delegation for ILMUNC 2013 where he was a delegate to the World Bank (application committee). He was a delegate to the International Olympic Committee (PMUNC 2012) and the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference of 2009 (ILMUNC 2012). Nathan is Head Delegate for the upcoming PMUNC 2014 and ILMUNC 2015 where he will be a delegate on the crisis committee CIA 1980. Nathan is part of the class of 2019 in the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business which is a unique, four-year interdisciplinary undergraduate course of study that integrates business education from the Wharton school with advanced language training and a liberal arts education from the College of Arts and Sciences. |
![]() Nicholas Emery Nicholas Emery was co-founder and Secretary-General for AHMUNC 2013. At NAIMUN 2014, he served as Minister of the Exterior, Yedinstvo: Vladimir Putin’s Cabinet, 2000. He served as Head Delegate of the AHMUNC delegation for PMUNC 2013, where he was Zhang Dejiang, Head of the National People’s Congress for the application committee Chinese Politburo. He has been a CHAPMUN delegate from Panama to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO, ILMUNC 2013) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR, ILMUNC 2012). Nicholas was Head Delegate of the CHAPMUN delegation for PMUNC 2012 representing Estonia to the World Trade Organization (WTO). He enjoys playing basketball, reading Melville, Dickens and Tolstoy and volunteering with special needs children. Nicholas is part of the class of 2018 at the University of Pennsylvania where he is studying Economics, Russian and Mathematics at the College of Arts and Sciences. |
![]() Nicholas Millan Nicholas Millan has been an enthusiastic member of AHMUNC since January 2015. In addition to his participation in club simulations, he has served as a delegate representing Guatemala at the 2015 Princeton Model United Nations Conference (PMUNC) and received a verbal commendation as part of AHMUNC’s delegation representing Macedonia at the 2016 Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC). Nicholas is currently in his 8th year of participation in the 4-H program and has received several medals, including those for Public Speaking, Citizenship, and Community Service. His many efforts towards serving his community include frequent nursing home visits, where he plays his violin for the residents, assisting with the religious education program at his church, working at a local food bank, and educating the public on the importance of air quality and sun safety through demonstrations at county events, including Earth Day. In addition, Nicholas is a polyglot, currently studying four foreign languages (Mandarin Chinese, French, Russian, and Portuguese) with hopes to add several more to his repertoire in the future. His other passions include mathematics, physics, and modern world history, with an emphasis on the Cold War. |
